Divorce issues are often, a result of lack of commitment to marriage. Personal problems, which an individual experiences sometimes, interfere in the normal functioning of a couple relationship. Divorce issues are a result of more than one reason and the causes vary in their complexity.
Studies revealed that couples, whose parents were divorced are more likely to split than whose parents lead their lives together. Moreover, couples cohabiting before marriage or those engaged in their teens are more likely to indulge in divorce issues.
Specific Divorce Causes:
Usually, reasons of breaking marriage from the spouses' perspective differ from that of their lawyers. However, certain common causes of divorce have been legally recognized and the help of a professional is required to resolve divorce issues. such as custody of the child, alimony and division of assets.
Lack of communication is a leading cause of divorce. Most often, couples do not share their expectations before marriage, which results in serious difficulties and breakdowns after marriage. In many cases, the spouse does not communicate personal feelings and issues and expects the other half to guess the entire problem.
Recently, a study confirmed that time, money and sex are the major causes for divorce issues, among several newly married couples. Employment status, sexual satisfaction and balancing job along with the family tend to be the biggest obstacles in leading a healthy marital life. Moreover, some couples after marriage, tend to change their priorities in these regards, resulting in greater confusion levels.
Certain cultural and lifestyle differences such as differences in religious beliefs are another major factor resulting in divorce issues. This is often, a result of immaturity and inefficiency to cope with the partner's behavior. Certain differences may also exist in the personal and career targets.
In a small proportion, divorce issues are a consequence of various harassments from either of the spouses. These include emotional abuse, substance abuse, sexual abuse, physical abuse and alcohol addiction. Such instances of families have a difficulty in rearing children. Thus, most of the juvenile delinquents are a result of such homes.
